May 2021 Currently Available Turnings

 I have added some new turnings to my “availables,” which I hope you’ll take a look at and perhaps decide to acquire for your own collection. These were all turned this year. Unlike most of the pieces listed in the previous post, these pieces are less functional, a little more rustic, more on the art side. (There are still a number of pieces available from that earlier group, listed in the previous post. The ones that have been sold are clearly indicated; the rest are available.) I’ll be happy to answer any questions or provide additional photos. As before, all proceeds from these sales net of shipping will go to Feeding America to support it’s work in alleviating hunger in our country. The previous project provided them with $880. 23. Natural-edged Cherry Crotch End-Grain Bowl. $100. This piece was turned in an end grain orientation at the point where two branches emerged from a larger branch, hence the “crotch.” The “wings” are the remaining outside surfaces of the two branches. ...
